Located on the Butler Campus of Laurel School, The Alice Lehmann Butler Center for Fitness and Wellness is a 12,000 sq-ft fitness center which includes team meeting rooms, locker rooms and a catering kitchen. This facility supports the Laurel students overall wellness and the adjacent varsity athletic facilities which are located on the 140 acre campus.
Denk Associates provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering for this facility in addition to providing energy modeling services. Working along with Laurel Schools, Van Auken Akins Architects, and the entire construction team, the The Alice Lehmann Butler Center for Fitness and Wellness achieved USGBC LEED Silver certification.
